Romans 8:37

What a wonderful time of year for the believer in Christ we come with Thanksgiving we come with joy but if I can be a little transparent this evening if I can be honest this evening I do know that I should have joy I do know that I should be thankful and I am thankful but I do want to say that this time of year I begin to miss my loved ones more than other times of year perhaps it's because the holidays brings people together bring families together and we do know that if a loved one is not there there's a missing link so this evening I just want to encourage you as I encourage myself God is a God that knows everything God is a God that sees everything God is a God that knows exactly how we feel and he has made it possible for us to be alone but not feel lonely in other words Jesus himself felt lonely because he was alone Jesus himself felt the pain of loneliness so we would never have to feel that pain in our lives. Remember in the garden of Gethsemane. Jesus was separate from God. He felt the pain and it's a pain that God does not want you to ever feel. How do I know this in this letter in chapter 8 of The Book of Romans Paul is summing up he has to United with Christ in his death on the cross and so two in his resurrection he has told us that the spirit of Christ the Holy Spirit dwells within us is united with our spirit and as always interceding and praying on our behalf remember now on the cross that Jesus said it is finished no more with sin separate us from God no more we would have to be lonely people come and go and God knew this would happen God knew that we will be sad will be heartbroken and that's the reason why he made the ultimate sacrifice that when we become heartbroken he can mend our hard work together maybe we come lonely keep you feel that void with himself yes Jesus knew that people would come and go Jesus die so we wouldn't feel that pain of loneliness for a long time yes we will feel the pain of loneliness for a short period of time because we are human yes we face many troubles yes in this broken messed up world we're going to feel the pain of separation separation from one another maybe in a broken relationship maybe in the loved one Gone Too Soon even though we are truly United with Christ at times it feels as if God before away or that we are far away from him my brothers sisters I want you to know that love it would bridge that Gap love would feel that void because God is love that's why we are so grateful to God that he saved us that we don't have to feel the same loneliness as a none believer yes God Will Comfort us because we are his children yes God knew that we were going to feel loneliness but only for a short. Of time my brother and sisters Paul said in the Book of Romans that I am sure nothing will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus he said death could not he said life would not he said Angels would not rulers would not nothing can separate the love of God from us . Yes we were separated from God when Adam took the Apple but God fix that problem through Jesus Christ and that's why I love the song We Are reunited and it feels so good. There's another song by Marvin Gaye and Tammil Terrell.
Listen baby ain't no mountain high ain't no valley low ain't no River wide enough baby if you need me call me no matter where you are no matter how far don't worry baby Just Call My Name I'll be there in a hurry you don't have to worry cuz baby There Ain't No Mountain High Enough no valley low enough no River wide enough to keep me away from you yes those are the words Marvin Gaye but those same as words could have came from God himself a God that will not let anything stop him from getting to his children to wipe the tears from your eyes to mend your broken heart to put a smile on your face yes there's no Valley too low there's no River wide enough to keep God away from his children so my brothers and sisters all the we may feel a little sad this Christmas time of year this Thanksgiving time of year remember that David saying that I was once young but now I am old and I never seen the righteous forsaken nor his seed begging for bread know God will never he would never leave us alone never never leave us alone.
