A New Year, Same God, New you…

In life, many people do not reach their full potential.

We can become so caught up in everyday that it is easy to continue in old patterns rather than change. Yet, we all have a God-given desire to live to our full potential.

Jesus wants you to live a highly productive life. He wants you to produce a crop, a hundred, sixty or thirty times what was sown( Matthew 13:8).

The minimum is a thirty times multiplication. The Key to that potential lies in your relationship with Jesus. A relationship that can be as close as that of a brother or sister or mother. You can live a life of real purpose that will make a difference to the world, because of what you receive from Him.

God did say that I knows the plans for your life and my plans is to prosper you and not harm you. You must realize that your potential is not about being driven by ambition or success, it is about recognizing who you are in God. Greater is He in you than he that is in the world. As you seek Him and live your life according to his purposes, you will bear much fruit. Jesus said you abide in me and I abide in you, without me you can do nothing. God can do the impossible and if He lives in you that means you can do the impossible. He did say greater works you will do.The more you begin to full-fill your God-given potential, the more he entrusts to you. If we are faithful over a few things He will make us ruler over many things. He wants you to live an abundance. He said in John 10:10 ‘ That I come that you may have life and have life of abundance. We have the opportunity to live a life of even greater blessing than those you read about in the old testament. Jesus say`s, Blessed are your eyes because they see, and your ears because they hear. For I tell you the truth, many prophets and righteous people longed to see what you see but did not see it,and to hear what you hear but did not hear it.( Matthew 13:16-17). To reach our full potential we must know the deep things of God. 1 Cor. 2:10 ‘ Hencefprth I call you not servants for the servant knoweth not what his Lord doeth. But I have called you friends, for all things that I have heard of my Father I have made known unto you. It is given unto you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven. We have received, not the world, but the Spirit which is of God,that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God. This is called inside information. We must draw closer to God with your heart not lip services. The key again is the relationship. Jesus did say love one another have a great relationship with your Family, but your supreme calling is to an intimate relationship with Jesus, doing the will of the Father( Matthew 12:50)

If we take care of God business; He will take care of your Business.
He did say that we are the head and not the tail.

Jesus said Whoever does the will of my Father in heaven is my brother and sister and mother. A relationship at the deepest possible level. You can have this amazing closeness to Jesus. Stay close to him each day and you will fulfill your potential. Psalm 1 ‘ Blessed is the man who walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of the sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. But his delight is in the law of the Lord( The Word) and in his word doth he meditate day and night. And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.
We must have deep Spiritual roots with God. Without deep roots we can not reach our full potential because when trouble or persecution come we will quit. Our spiritual roots are part of our life that none else sees. our secret life with God.

This includes our prayers, our giving and our thought life. If you want to fulfil your potential make sure you develop deep strong and healthy roots in your relationship with God. It is so easy for people to be distracted by the busyness of life. Many things can fill your life and push out time for God, church and other ways in which your spiritual roots could be developed.Jesus warned about thorns that choke the plant. The thorns are the worries of this life and the deceitfulness of wealth. Our Prayer: Father ,thank you that you call me into this intimate relationship with Jesus. Lord help me to put my roots down deep and keep my eyes fixed on you. Help me to guard this relationship and never allow other things, even good things, to crowd in and choke my life. Lord thank you that the potential for mt life is vast. May I produce a crop thirty, sixty or even a hundred times what was sown. God you said greater works we shall do.

To God Be The Glory…
