2 Thessalonians 2:1-3

1. Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him. 2. That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor be word, nor by letter as from us as that the day of Christ ye at hand. 3. Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;

Paul introduction to 2 Thessalonians chapter 2, is for them to understand six things, the correction of present error, the true pertain to coming of the Lord day, and the mystery of the lawlessness, be thanksgiving and prayer, and prayer for strength, and to avoid false teachers. See in Paul first letter to the Thessalonians he had taught them that the of the Lord he would come like a thief in the night, and no one know when he will come. Two matters covered here the Lord’s presence, and our gathering together to him, the Lord’s presence will begin with the rapture of the overcomers to the throne of God, in heaven at the end of the great tribulation, which will occur in the last three and a half years of this age. Some Thessalonians believe that the day of Lord was already here and they there living in it, but this was a error from false teaching. Apparently the theory that they were in the day of the Lord, was coming to them from several sources, prophecy, report, or letter. He in lightened their spirits  with a reminder that his readers were his brethren and sistren in the faith. Paul warned his reader against believing the false teaching that was shaking their spiritual and triggering their fears, they need to prayer for strength. This rebellion, which will take place within the professing church, will be a departure from the truth that God has revealed in his work. Now the spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter time time some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrine of the devils. Christ second coming, another event that must take place before the judgments of  the day of the Lord occur is the revelation of the man of lawlessness, he is also described as the man doomed to destruction this man is further described as the adversary of God. He will seek to replace the worship of the true God, proclaim himself to be God, Paul said but now is made manifest, and by the scriptures of the prophets, according to the commandment of the everlasting God, made known to all nations for the obedience of faith. The antichrist may control mankind, but he will be no match for messiah Jesus is Lord indeed, he will be killed and his work will be destroyed, those minds are blinded to the truth of God:  According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before his in love. We much believer in the salvation is belief in the truth of the gospel, the holy spirit uses the word of God to purify the believer’s life, sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth. Now our Lord Jesus Christ himself, and God, even our Father, which hath loved us, and hath given us everlasting consolation and good hope through grace. comfort your hearts, and stablish you in every good word and work. Now the Lord is faithful, who shall stablish you, and keep you from evil. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all Amen.
