Can God Count On You To Go???

Today  this text is about blessing God.

Yes we can bless God.

Did you know that?

Yes we can put a smile on God’s face.

The scriptures say. I will bless the Lord at all times.

His praises will continue to be in my mouth.

Why do I want to, and need to bless the Lord.

Let me tell you a story.

Well it’s a true story.

It may be your story as well.

Sometime we don’t want folks to buy us a gift because we don’t want to feel obligated to them or buy them one.

We don’t want you to be nice to us because we don’t want to feel obligated to be nice to them.

Well God don’t want you to bless Him out of obligation.

Don’t be obedient out of obligation, because then you will miss your blessing.

God is big on motive.

Why you do what you do?

He is big on the heart.

God could have made us robots.

Made us love him.

Instead He put love in us to love freely.

Some people are going to say Lord I cast out demons in your name.  I fed the hungry.

Yes you did; but with the wrong motive.

Wrong heart.

Wrong love.

Pat Tillman was a pro football player that left the game making millions of dollars to go fight for his country.

He died.

He loved his country.

If you want to bless God.

Then do as Isaiah did.

God said who shall I send.

He said Lord I will go if I have to go by myself.

Why did Isaiah go??

It was after God came to him in a vision.

God showed him his Glory and who He is.

Has He showed you His glory and who he is, then why want you go ?

So he teamed up with God.

God said go and tell my people they will go through some rough times in 2017.

A new king is on the throne.

Donald Trump.

But I am the real king of glory.

Bad times won’t last if you trust in me.

You see at first God was their king; but they begged to have an earthly King.

They had some bad kings over the years.

Be careful what you ask for.

God said go encourage my people.

Tell them that weeping may endure for a night but joy will come in the morning.

God told him that the people won’t listen to him but go anyway.

God is telling you to go, and tell your neighbors about the good news because trouble is up ahead, tell them to hold on.

Yell at them to store up some things; do not spend all you have.

What about you???

Can God Count On you. ??

To God Be The Glory
