Connected to the Master

Genesis 2:7

For the Lord God formed the man from the dust off the ground, and breathe into his nostrils the breath of life; and the man became a living being.

God created the universe with a word. He spoke stars and planets into existence.

He formed the world with simple commands.

God started the creation process without any free existing thing.

He began with nothing.

With the presence of the Holy Spirit, and the entrance of his word, creation begun.

He brought order, light, life, and beauty out of k off and documents.

He said, Let there be, and it happened.

Then he became personally involved with making human.

Other places in Scripture describe God as a Potter and human beings as the clay found in Isaiah 64: 8.

Making us think of our Heavenly Father bent over a potter’s wheel, forming mud figures into the design, he had in mind for us.

The finishing touch was to breathe into us his breath of life.

God got  personal right from the start.

But he did not stop there.

God’s action in giving of breath, also gave us the ability to speak.

We are God’s image barrier

Just like God spoke and brought order, life, life into the world because we have his breath on the inside of us.

We can speak  into our lives, we can speak life into our lives, we can speak the light into our lives.

God has given us the ability to call those things that are not, to be.

All it takes really is a little faith. Faith as a mustard seed, and we can move mountains.

Because of the connection that we have with God.

We were made to communicate with our maker.

We were made by God for God.

God said my sheep will hear my voice.

God said  he will hear us when we pray.

What a privilege to be able to talk to the one that can do everything but fail, to be able to talk to the one that can speak a word and it will come to pass, what a privilege to be a able to talk to the one that created the universe, what a privilege to talk to the one that has the power to turn your life around, not tomorrow but today .

I remember a song back in 1980 that said I found love on a two way street.

God has given us the breath of life, and that is his connection with us, and prayer is our connection with him.  That is a two way communication with  God.  He understands our language, because it is his as well,

We have nothing to worry about; we are connected forever.

The word said nothing can separated us from God.

My word for you today is to stay connected to your source.

The master potter.

Stay connected to God, for He will never leave or forsake you.
