NOTHING CAN SEPARATE YOU FROM THE LOVE OF GOD

We must not allow anything to cause us to turn away from God, not death, nor life, nor principalities, nor our insecurities, nothing. When ever we start to feel fearful or anxious, we can repeat this unconditional promise: “Nothing can separate me from the Love Of God! Not calamity, or persecution, or hunger or destitution, or danger or death. Romans 8:31-39

Evangelist Sharen Sims

It is written, that we are to live purposefully, using wisdom as sensible, intelligent people. This means that we should makes the Most of the time we are given.  We are to use every opportunity to we can to fulfill our purpose on earth, which to love God and others. Be sure that you understand what the will of the Lord is. Get alone with God to make sure you know how to use you time today. Ephesians 5:15-17

We must watch our Words Diligently. Words have such great power to bless or to wound. When we speak carelessly or negatively, we damage others as well as ourselves. This ability to verbalize is an awesome privilege, grated only to those God created in his image. God’s Word say; Be quick to listen, slow to speak, and slow to become angry. We must ask The Holy Spirit to help us whenever we speak. God has training us to pray– “Help me, Holy Spirit” before we even answer our phones. These prayer are call split second prayers but they will help us. To know what to say and what not to say. It is a process, but with the help of The Holy Spirit we can do it! Proverbs 12:18 James 1:19

SIT QUIETLY IN MY GOD’S PRESENCE  while he blesses you. Make your mind like a still pool of water, ready to receive whatever thoughts he drops into it.  Rest in His Sufficiency as you consider the the challenges of today. Do not wear yourself out by worrying about whether you can deal with the pressures. God can handle everything. He is not in a hurry. When you rush, you forget Who you are, and Whose you are. Remember that you are royalty in GOD’s kingdom. Psalm 37:7  Romans 8;16-17  I Peter 2:9

Understanding will never bring you Peace. That’s why God has instructed us to trust in Him, not in your understanding. Human beings have an a bad habit of trying to figure things out in order to gain a sense of mastery over their lives. But the World presents us with an endless series of problems. As soon as you get over one situation, here comes another.  The relief you had anticipated is short-lived. Soon your mind is gearing up again: searching for understanding, instead of seeking God.  Actually you will always find peace, if you will get into the presence of God.                         Proverbs 3:5-6  and  Roman 5:1

God’s word teaches, “Be Strong in the Lord” we are empowered through our union with Him; draw your strength from Him. We are to put on the whole armor of God, so we won’t be deceived by the devil. Ephesians 6:10  Verse 16 says, Lift up all the (covering) shield of saving faith upon which you can quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. We are also told to “pray at all times, in the Spirit with all manner of prayer and in humble request. Keeping alert and watching with strong purpose and perseverance. Interceding on behalf of all the saints of God.

Wear My ROBE OF RIGHTEOUSNESS with ease. I custom-made it, to cover you from head o toe. The price I paid for this covering was astronomical – My own blood. You could never purchase such a royal garment, no matter how hard you worked. Sometimes you forget that My righteousness is a gift, and you feel ill at ease in your  robe. I want you to trust Me enough to realize your privileged position in My kingdom. Keep your eyes on Me as you practice walking in this garment of salvation. God want you to trust him enough to realize your privileged position in His Kingdom. Isaiah 61:10   2 Corinthians

RELAX IN GOD’S HEALING, in his Holy Presence. Allow Him to transform you through spending time alone with him. As your thoughts center more and more on Him, trust replaces fear and worry. Your mind is somewhat like a seesaw. Time spent with God also increases your trust and helps you discern what is important and what is not. As you draw closer to God he will show you how to spend your time and energy.  It is written: “My Word is a lamp to your feet.” My Presence is a Light for your path.  Ephesians 5:15-16  Psalms 119;105

Come To Me. Come To Me. Come To Me. This is the soft whisper of God.  When your heart and mind are quiet, you can hear HIM inviting you to draw near. Drawing closer to God requires no great effort on your part; it is more like ceasing to resist the magnetic pull of His Love. Open yourself to his Loving presence so that He may fill you  with His fullness. God wants us to experience how wide and long and high and deep His Love for you.  His Love surpasses knowledge. This vast ocean of Love cannot be measured or explained, but it can be experienced.  Revelation 22:17  John 6:37 Ephesians 3:15-19

People who take a positive attitude and say, “I can do it.  I am going go do it right now. It is no problem. are wonderful to be around and work with because they  tackle things and get them done. If you put off something you should have done already, it will start to threaten you with fear. Don’t allow an assignment to get out of proportion in your mind. Keep your mind on what you set out to do today. If you get interrupted, make yourself come right back to that task and finish it up Nothing is so hard that you can’t handle it if you will keep a positive attitude and do it God’s way. We as children of God, need to learn to Enjoy Life More; remembering the God is with us. When we wear sour faces and walk through our lives murmuring and complaining all the time God is not pleased. But if we would walk around with a childlike delight, savoring every blessing, we are proclaiming our trust in Him.  Showing Him that He that is our Shepard! The more we focus on His Presence with us the more fully we can enjoy life. So let’s Glorify God through our pleasure in Him. This is how we proclaim His Presence to the watching world!  Matthew 1:23 John 10:10

Go to sleep at night after asking God to put his plan in your mind.  Don’t be vague about what you hope to accomplish.  One morning I was lying in bed when the Spirit of the Lord said, “Stop being doubtful or uncertain. Don’t be double-minded. Why are you just sitting and waiting to see what’s gonna happen.  Then I realize that I have to wake up with a plan that puts God first in all I do.  The Bible say; that God’s Word is a lamp unto our feet, and a light unto our path. (Psalm 119:105)  To to The Lord before you even get out of bed; ask Him to make it clear what you need to accomplish today.

God love’s for his children to meet him in the splendor of morning. He eagerly awaits us.  In the stillness of this holy time with Him,  He renews our strength and give’s us peace.  While other’s turn over for extra sleep or anxiously tune in to the latest new; some of us commune with the Creator of the Universe.  He has awakened in our hearts a strong desire to know more of him. When we seek God’s Face in response to His Love call, both of us are blessed. This is a deep mystery, designed more for our enjoyment then for our understanding.  God delights in our enjoyment of everything that is true, noble right pure lovely, admirable.  When we think on these things, and His Light will shine brighter day by day.  Isaiah 40:31 Psalm 27:4

We, as people crave love, happiness and peace. May try to buy these things an pay therapists to help them find them. All these qualities are already available to us when we put our trust in our Savior, Jesus Christ.  He sends the Holy Spirit to help us walk in obedience to God.  Living the Spirit-filled life will eventually produce those things that we want most in our lives.   Galatians 5:22-23 says, “But the fruit of the Spirit is…Love, Joy, Peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self control. Against such things there is no law.

As you go through your various trials and situations, FIND ME IN THE MIDST of the storm. Sometimes events whirl around you so quickly that they become a blur.  Whisper My Name in recognition that I am still with you.  Without skipping a beat in the daily activities that occupy you, you’ll find Strength and Peace through praying My Name. Later, when the things have run their course, you can talk with Me more fully.  Accept each day just as it comes to you.  Do not waste your time and energy wishing for a different set of circumstances.  Instead, trust Me enough to yield to my purpose. Also remember that nothing can separate you from My loving Presence; you are Mine. Philippians 2:9-11 & Isaiah 43:1

WAIT WITH ME FOR A WHILE, sayeth the Lord. I have much to tell you. You are walking along the path I have chosen for you.  It is both a privileged and a perilous way: experiencing My glorious Presence and heralding that reality to others.  Sometimes you feel presumptuous to carrying out such an assignment.  Do not worry about what other people think of you.  The work I am doing in you is hidden at first. But eventually blossoms will burst forth, and abundant fruit will be born.  Stay on the path of Life with Me!   Trust Me wholeheartedly, letting My Spirit fill you with Joy and Peace. That Peace that surpasses All Understanding!  I Kings 8:23   Galatians 5:22-24

We MUST learn to put all of our Trust in God, and not be afraid.  God wants us to view trials as exercises designed to develop our trust-muscles.  We live in the midst of fierce spiritual battles, and fear is one of Satan’s favorite weapons.  When we start to feel afraid, We can speak out loud .  It is written that if we Resist the devil in The Name of Jesus, he will flee from us. Speak or sing praises to God, and His Face will shine radiantly upon us. Remember that there is no condemnation for those who belong to God.  You have been judged NOT GUILTY for all eternity. Trust God, and don’t be afraid; for He is your Strength, Song, and Salvation.  James 4:7 Romans 8:11-2 and Isaiah 12:2

Moods can bring strange impulses that we dare not to heed. When we get moody, we want to do weird things, or neglect our responsibilities.  “I don’t feel like doing anything today.  I am in a bad mood. Just leave me alone.”  Disciplined people submit their emotions to wisdom.  They say, “These are my feelings, but I don’t live by my feelings. I may have moods, but they don’t dictate my actions. I am going to do exactly what I would do if I felt better.”  You will enjoy your day more when you discipline yourself to do what you believe instead of what you feel. Receive instruction in wise dealing and the discipline of wise thoughtfulness, righteousness, justice, and integrity. Proverbs 1:3

A gentle tongue (with its healing power) is a tree of life. Proverbs 15:4  The Bible says that if a person can control his speech, he can curb his entire nature:  “For we all stumble and fall and offend in many things.  If anyone does not offend in speech (never says  the wrong things), he is a fully developed character and a perfect man, able to control his whole body and to curb his entire nature” James 3:2).  No one is completely mature in the Lord, so there is always room for improvement. If your mouth is out of control, other areas of your life will also be out of control.  Give your speech to God today.   Ask Him to direct the words you speak, and allow Him to fill your mouth with words of life that lift up everyone around you.

GROW STRONG in the Light of God’s Presence.  As His Face shines upon us, we receive nutrients that enhance our growth in grace.  God designed us to commune with him face-to-face, and this interaction strengthens our souls.  Such communion provides a tiny glimpse of what awaits us in heaven, where all us and His Glory will be removed.  this meditative time with His blesses us doubly; we’re blessed both here and now and we look forward with hope of heaven. Then we will know him in his in ecstatic Joy.  Psalm 4:6-8  Revelation 21:23

Arm yourselves with the same thoughts and purpose (patiently to suffer rather than fail to please God).  For whoever has suffered in the flesh (having the mind of Christ) is done with (intentional) sin (has stopped pleasing himself and the world, and pleases God), so that he can no longer spend the rest of his natural life living by (his) human appetites and desires, but (he lives) for what God wills.  1 Peter 4:1-2

Look carefully at your walk! Live purposefully and worthily, not as the the unwise and witless, but as wise (sensible, intelligent people), making the very most of the time (buying up each opportunity).  We need to be so self-controlled that we don’t waste time.  That doesn’t mean that we can never have fun.  It doesn’t mean we can’t do things that we enjoy.  We don’t need to be rigid, stiff or boring. But we do need to use our time wisely, choosing to give the best part of our day to spend time with God.  The encourages us to be prepared, saying, “Hear counsel, receive instruction, and accept correction, that you may be wise in the time to come”.  Seeking God’s Will the first things in the morning will help us to have direction, purpose and the wisdom in making the most of our time.

I have set before you life and death, the blessings and the curses, therefore choose life.  Deuteronomy 30:19  Sometimes we complain about things that we could change if we would stop feeling sorry for ourselves long enough to do something about them. For example, if we are lonely, we can make the effort to be a friend to someone else.  We can choose to be free or remain in bondage to self-pity. We can choose to be pitiful or powerful.               Psalm 25:12-14 says, “Who is the man who reverently fears and worships the Lord: Him shall He teach in the way that in the way that he should choose.  The secret of the Lord have they who fear Him, and He will show them His covenant and reveal to them its meaning”.

SEEK GOD with your whole heart and soul. He desires to be found by you, and He orchestrates the events in your life with that purpose in mind.  When things go well and you are blessed, you can feel Him smiling on you. When thing are not going so well along life-journey, you must still trust that His Light is still shining upon you.  Gods reasons for allowing these times to come in our lives are a mystery but His continual Presence with you is an absolute promise. SEEK GOD in good times and seek Him in hard times.  You will find Him watching over you all the time.  Deuteronomy 4:29  Hebrews 10:24 Psalm 145:20

But I say, walk and live in the Spirit (responsive to and controlled and guided by the Spirit), then you will certainly not gratify the cravings and desires of the flesh. Galatians 5:16  “The fruit of the Spirit, which is Love, Joy, Peace, Long Suffering, Gentleness, Goodness, Faithfulness,  Kindness, and Self-Control. Galatians 5:22-23.  People throughout the world try to acquire these virtues through counseling or self-help books. Yet the Bible says that if we walk with God, the Spirit-filled life will produce all these things within us. When give our lives to God each day, and He will create a clean heart and renews within us a right Spirit. Making us want to do the things that would be pleasing to him.

I AM YOUR BEST FRIEND, as well as your KING.  Walk hand in hand with Me through your life.  Together we will face whatever each day brings: pleasures, hardships, adventures, or disappointments.  Nothing is wasted when it is shared with me.  I can bring beauty out of the ashes of lost dreams.  I can glean Joy out of sorrow, Peace out of adversity.  Only a Friend who is also the King of Kings could accomplish these things.  There is no there is no other like Me!  The friendship I offer you is practical and down-to-earth, yet it is saturated with heavenly Glory.  Living in My Presence means living in two realms simultaneously:  The visible world and the unseen, eternal reality.  I have equipped you to stay conscious of Me while walking along dusty earthbound paths.  John 15:13-15  Isaiah 61:3  2 Corinthians 6:10

He who is of a greedy spirit stirs up strife!  But he who puts his trust in the Lord shall be enriched and blessed.  Proverbs 28:25  Probably 80 percent of the places we visit in our ministry have church members who are riddled with strife.  Strife is the devil’s tool against us.  It takes personal self-control to stay out of strife. If you want to keep peace, you can’t always say everything that you want to say.  Sometimes you have control yourself and apologize even when there is nothing in you that wants to do so.  But if you sow the godly principle of harmony and unity today, a time will come when you will reap the blessing of all it can bring to you.

Confess to one another therefore your faults (your slips, your false steps, your offenses, your sins) and pray for one another, that you may be healed and restored (to a spiritual tone of mind and heart).  The earnest (heartfelt, continued) prayer of a righteous man makes tremendous power available (dynamic in its working). James 5:16  Addictions, habits, or negative attitudes can wear you out.  If you need deliverance from some wrong behavior, the Bible teaches that the Holy Spirit is your Helper. John 14:16  Confess your needs to God, and ask Him to deliver you.  The Word says that we are to confess our faults to one another so that we may be healed and restored. If your are out of control in some area, be honest about it.  Today can be your day of deliverance.

Accept Each Day exactly as it comes to you.  By that I mean not only the circumstances of your day but also the condition of your body.  Your assignment is to trust God absolutely, resting in His sovereignty and faithfulness.  There are some days, your circumstances and your physical condition feel out of balance:  The demands on you seem far greater than your strength.  Days like that present a choice between two alternatives – giving up or relying on God.  Even if you make the wrong choice at first and try rely on your own strength, God will not reject you.   You can turn to Him at any point, and He will help you crawl out of the mire of discouragement.  God will infuse His strength into you moment by moment, giving you all that you need for this day.  Trust God, by relying on His empowering Presence.

WALK WITH GOD along paths of trust.  The most direct route between point A and point B on your life-journey is the path of unwavering trust in God.  When your faith falters, you choose a trail that takes you well out of your way.  You will get to a point B eventually, but you will have lost precious time and energy.  As soon as your realize that you have strayed from your path, look to God and whisper, “I trust You, Jesus.” This affirmation will help you get back on track.   This simple act of faith will keep you walking along straight parts with God. Trust in Him with all your heart and He will make your paths straight.  Isaiah 26:4; Psalm 9:10  Psalm 25-4-5  Proverbs 3:5-6

Seek, God with all you heart, inquire of and for the Lord, and crave Him and His strength.  Seek and require His face and His presence continually. Psalm 105:4  The Bible says to “aim at and seek the (rich, eternal treasures) that are above” Colossians 3:1.  If you seek the fruit of the Spirit wholeheartedly, God will do a work in your life so that you will enjoy the abundant life Jesus died to give you.  God promises, “And the Lord shall make you the head, and not the tail; and you shall be above and you shall not be beneath, if you heed the commandments of the Lord your God which I command you this day and are watchful to do them”. Deuteronomy 28:13

We must learn to control our temper.  It is uncomfortable for others to be around us if we are always getting angry.  We need to learn how to respond to life instead of react to it, so that we can enjoy God’s power in our lives.  God’s word says, a person who can control  his or her anger is better and mightier than an individual who can take a whole city (Proverbs 16:32)  It also says, “Understand, my beloved brethren.  Let every man be quick to hear (ready to listen), slow to speak, slow to take offense and to get angry.  For man’s anger does not promote the righteousness God. (James 1:19-20) Be a ready listener, and enjoy the freedom from anger that God offers you.

September 14, 2017

Love (God’s Love In Us) does not insist on its own rights or its own way, for it is not self-seeking; it is not touchy or fretful or resentful; it takes no account of the evil done to it (it pays no attention to a suffered wrong)..  1 Corinthians 13-5  The Bible says that God’s love in us is not touchy.  If we wear our emotion on our sleeve all the time, we may need to spend more time in His presence before we face the day.  Our tears can provoke sympathy, but it is better to be giver instead of a taker all the time.  Starting your day with God will keep you “sweet-ened up” and full of confidence.  As you enjoy His gentleness and kindness, you will be built up in your spirit and better able to overlook the offenses of others. Ask God to give you a strong heart, one ready to love people today as He does, unconditionally.

REST IN GOD, Little Children.  This time devoted to God is meant to be peaceful, not stressful.  You don’t have to perform in order to receive His Love.  He has boundless, unconditional Love for you.  How it grieves Him to see His children working for Love:  trying harder and harder, yet never feeling good enough to be loved.  Be careful that your devotion to Him does not become another form of works.  He wants you to come into His Presence joyfully and confidently.  You have nothing to fear, for you wear His own righteousness.  Gaze into His eyes, and you will see no condemnation, only Love and delight in the one He sees.  Be blessed as God’s Face shines radiantly upon you, giving you Peace.  John 15:13  Zephaniah 3:17; Numbers 6:25-26

Evangelist Sharen Sims

And you will know the  Truth, and the Truth will set you free.  If you lose your temper easily, you will never enjoy your day as God meant for it to be. Seek God with your whole heart, and find out what is wrong.  The way to get free from things that upset you is to find truth – the truth will always set you free.  We don’t always want to face truth because sometimes it is painful.  Sometimes it shows us that we need to change.  If we are behaving badly, we make excuses for our wrong behavior.  But excuses will never make us free.  Let God get involved with your day; when you feel your temper flare, ask Him to reveal the truth of that situation.  The truth will always set you free to enjoy the rest of your day.

Evangelist Sharen Sims

Out of my distress I called upon the Lord; and the Lord answered me and set me free! Psalm 118:5   If you find yourself running late everywhere you go (even 50 percent of the time), that is evidence of a stronghold that Satan has built in your life.  Get free from it, or the devil will use it to keep you under pressure.  You may have an excuse for every time you are behind schedule, but something is wrong if that behavior pattern is repetitive.  Ask God to show you how to get free from the pressure of always hurrying and being late.  Starting your day with God will help you set priorities for your day.  Get to the root of  the problem, and enjoy the fruit of God’s indwelling presence to get you where you need to be – on time and without hurrying.

I press toward the goal to win the (supreme and heavenly) prize to which God in Christ Jesus is calling us upward.  (Philippians 3:14)                               We live in a society that is used to doing whatever feels good right now.  But instant gratification never brings lasting satisfaction. If you operate in self-control through the power of the Holy Spirit living in you, you will choose to do things that contribute to the goal that you have in mind.  You must discipline yourself now so you will reap the reward of reaching your goal later.  Paul taught, “Do you not know that in a race all the runners compete, but (only) one receives the prize?  So run (your race) that you may lay hole (of of the prize) and make it yours” (1 Corinthians 9:24).  Stay focused on the goal. God will give you the grace to continue moving toward it.

WAIT QUIETLY IS MY PRESENCE, While My thoughts form silently in the depths of your beings.  Do not try to rush this process, because hurry keeps your heart earthbound.  I am the Creator of the entire universe, yet I choose to make My humble home in your heart.  It is there where you know Me most intimately; it is there where I speak to you in holy whispers.  Ask My Spirit to quiet your mind so that you can hear My still small voice within you.  I am speaking to you continually: words of Life ….Peace….Love, Tune your heart to receive these these messages of abundant blessing.  Lay your requests before Me, and wait in expectation.  I Kings 19-12  Psalm 5:3

WALK WITH ME in the freedom of forgiveness.  The path we follow together is sometimes steep and slippery.  If you carry a burden of guilt on your back, you are more likely to stumble and fall.  At your request, I will remove the heavy load from you and bury it at the foot of the cross.  When I unburden you, you are undeniably free!  Stand up straight and tall in My Presence so that no one can place more burdens on your back.  Look into My Face and feel the warmth of My Love-Light shining upon you.  It is this unconditional Love that frees you from both fears and sins.  Spend time basking in the Light of My Presence.  As you come to know Me more and more intimately, you grow increasingly free.   Psalm 68-19  1 John 1:7-9  John 4:18

September 25, 2017

POUR ALL OF YOUR ENERGY into trusting Me.  It is through trust that you stay connected to Me, aware of My Presence.  Every step on your life-journey can be a step of faith.  Baby steps of trust are simple for you; you can take them with almost unconscious ease.  Giant steps are another matter altogether; leaping across chasms in semi-darkness, scaling cliffs of the uncertainty, trudging through the valley of the shadow of death.  These feats require sheer concentration, as well as utter commitment to Me.  Each of My children is a unique blend of temperament, giftedness, and life experiences.  Something that is a baby step for you may be a giant step for another person, and vice versa.  Only I know the difficulty or ease of each segment of your journey.  Beware of trying to impress others by acting as if your giant steps are only baby ones.  Do not judge others who hesitate in trembling fear before an act that would be easy for you. If each of My children would seek to please Me above all else, fear of others’ judgments would vanish, as would attempts to impress others. Focus your attention on the path just ahead of you and on the One who never leaves your side.           Psalm 23:4  Matthew 7:1-2  Proverbs 29:25

COME TO ME AND LISTEN!  Attune yourself to My voice, and receive My richest blessings.  Marvel at the wonder of communing with the Creator of the universe while sitting in the comfort of your home.  Kings who reign on earth tend to make themselves inaccessible; ordinary people almost never gain an audience with them.  Even dignitaries must plow through red tape and protocol in order to speak with royalty.  Though I am King of the universe, I am totally accessible to you.  I am with you wherever you are.  Nothing can separate you from My Presence!  When I cried out from the cross, “It is finished!”  the curtain of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom.  This opened the way for you to meet Me face-to-face, with no need of protocol or priests.  I, the King of kings, am your constant Companion.  Isaiah 50:4  Isaiah 55:2-3  John 19:30  Matthew 27:50-51

I have told you these things, so that in ME you may have (perfect) peace and confidence.  In the the world we have tribulation, trials, distress and frustration; but be of good cheer, be confident and certain!  For I have overcome the world.  I have deprived it of power to harm you and have conquered it for you.  (John 16:33)  God showed me that my life was in a mess because of the decisions I had made.  He said, “Sharen, you have to change; start sowing good seeds, and down the road somewhere, you will reap.”  If trials come against you, don’t try to figure out whether you sowed some bad seeds that produced them.  Trials will come, but if you will obey the Word of God long enough (not just for five minutes or to get through a certain situation, sooner or later, you will come into the good life that God has prearranged for you to live.

OPEN YOUR MIND AND HEART-your entire being-to receive My Love in full measure.  So many of My children limp through their lives starved for Love because they haven’t learned the art of receiving.  This is essentially an act of faith: believing that I love you with boundless, everlasting Love.  The art of receiving is also a discipline; training your mind to trust Me with confidence.  Remember that the evil one is the father of lies.  Learn to recognize his deceptive intrusions into your thoughts.  One of his favorite deceptions is to steal your confidence in My unconditional Love for you.  Fight back against these lies!  Do not let them go unchallenged.  Submit yourselves unto Me, Resist the devil and he will fleeDraw near to Me, and My Presence will envelop you in Love.  This Love can only be found in Me.  Ephesians 3:16-19;  Hebrews 4:14-16  John 8:44  James 4:7-8

And I am convinced and sure of this very thing, that He Who began a good work in you will continue until the day of Jesus Christ (right up to the time of His return), developing (that good work) and perfecting and bringing it to full completion in you. (Philippians 1:6) Whatever you may be struggling with today, the Holy Spirit will help you live a self-controlled life, because the Bible says that self-control is a fruit of the indwelling presence of the Holy Spirit. (Galatians 5:22-23)  Allow the Holy Spirit to help you admit when you have a problem that you need His help to overcome; then ask God for help from the Holy Spirit.  Jesus said, “Behold!  I have given you authority and power …and (physical and mental strength and ability) over all the power that the enemy possesses.  (Luke 10:19)

WORSHIP ME ONLY.  I am King of kings and Lord of lords, dwelling in unapproachable Light.  I am taking care of you!  I am not only committed to caring for you, but I am also absolutely capable of doing so.  Rest in Me, My weary one, for this is a form of worship.  Though self-flagellation has gone out of style, many of My children drive themselves like racehorses.  They whip themselves into action, ignoring how exhausted they are.  They forget that I am sovereign and that My ways are higher than theirs.  Under their driven service, their may secretly resent Me as a harsh taskmaster.  Their worship of Me is lukewarm because I am no longer their First Love.  My invitation never changes: Come to Me, all you who are weary , and I will give you rest.  Worship Me by resting in My Presence. When you rest in Me, you will not over work yourselves. Remember you must have a balance in your life. 1 Timothy 6:15;  Isaiah 55:8-9;  Revelation 2:4;  Matthew 11:28

Every Scripture is God-breathed (given by His inspiration) and profitable for instruction, for reproof and conviction of sin, for correction of error and discipline in obedience, (and) for training in righteousness (in holy living, in conformity to God’s will in thought, purpose, and actions).  2 Timothy 3:16  The Bible says that we will reap what we sow.  The dividing line between success and failure is doing what God tells us to do.  We pray for fruit in our lives, but we don’t always want to pray for roots.  If we want our days to go right, we need to do whatever God tells us to do.  If we don’t walk in obedience, then we can’t complain if we wind up in a mess.  If we are lonely and God tells us to invite somebody over, but we decide it is too much trouble, then we will stay lonely.  Obedience brings the fruit of the Spirit in your life.  Dig deep into God’s Word before you walk away from blessings today.

I AM THE CREATOR OF HEAVEN AND EARTH: Lord of all that is and all that will ever be.  Although I am unimaginable vast, I choose to dwell within you, permeating you with My Presence.  Only in the spirit realm could Someone so infinitely great live within someone so very small.  Be awed by the Power and the Glory of My Spirit within you!  Though the Holy Spirit is infinite, He deigns to be your Helper. He is always ready to offer assistance; all you need to do is ask.  When the path before you looks easy and straightforward, you may be tempted to go it alone instead of relying on Me.  This is when you are in the greatest danger of stumbling.  Ask My spirit to help you as you go each step of the way.  Never neglect this glorious Source of strength within you.  John 14-17  John 1:7;  Zechariah 4:6

You have put more joy and rejoicing in my heart than (they know) when their wheat and new wine have yielded abundantly.  In peace I will both lie down and sleep, for You, Lord, alone make me dwell in safety and confident trust.  (Psalm 4-7-8)  God has prearranged and made ready a good life for you, but that good life is a choice.  You have to decide to follow God;s leading in order to walk in it.  The Bible contains guidelines for that good life.  It is not a book of laws; it is about the liberty and freedom to live the life tht reaps good things.  It is a book of wisdom that will lead you to peace and joy.  If you do what the Word says to do, blessings will chase you and find you wherever you are.  Deuteronomy 28:1-2

I have raised you up for the very purpose of displaying My power in (dealing with) you, so that My name may be proclaimed the whole world over.  Romans 9:17  If you want victory over something, prepare yourself to work at it.  But it is not a matter of depending on yourself or winning at life through your own determination.  God gives us grace to do good works.  But grace doesn’t mean that our human flesh gets a free ride while we just lie down and go to sleep.  You are made for good works, to be a servant of righteousness.  You are built to take responsibility, and God will help you accomplish all He gives you to do.  He set you free from the bondage of sin so that you can conform to His divine will in thought , purpose, and action (Romans 6:18), Victory is achieved through God’s grace but you have to choose to trust Him every step of the way.

YOU HAVE BEEN on a long, uphill journey, and your energy is almost spent.  Though you have faltered at times, you have not let go of My hand.  I am pleased with your desire to stay close to Me.  There is one thing, however, that displeases Me, “your tendency to complain.”  You may talk to Me as much as you like about the difficulty of the path we are following.  I understand better than anyone else the stresses complaining and strains that have afflicted you.  You can ventilate safely to Me because talking with Me tempers your thoughts and helps you see things from My perspective.  Complaining to others is another matter altogether.  It opens the door to deadly sins such as self-pity and rage.  Whenever you are tempted to grumble, come to Me and talk it out.  As you open up to Me, I will put My thoughts in your mind and My song in your heart.                                  Jeremiah 31:25;  Philippians 2:14-15

Let your mercy and loving-kindness come also to me, O Lord, even Your salvation according to Your promise.  Psalm 119-41  Some Christians want to make a law out of studying the Bible or spending a certain amount of time with God.  But we should be motivated to read God’s Word and spend time with Him because of our love relationship with Him, not because of a commandment to do so.  Jesus said, “If you (really) love Me, you will keep (obey) My commands” (John 14:15).  What He really meant was, “If you love Me and walk in fellowship with Me, you will keep My commandments.”  If you concentrate on loving God, then keeping His commandments will become a natural part of what you do It is a promise He makes to you.

GOD IS THE SOURCE of all our hopes and desires.  He is the Alpha and the Omega, the first and the last: who is and was and is to come.  Before we knew Him, we expressed a longing for Him. During those times when we are vulnerable to the evil around us in the world.  But now His Presence safely shields us, enfolding us in His loving arms.  He has lifted us out of darkness into His marvelous Light.  Though He has brought many pleasures into our lives, not one of them is essential.  Receive His blessings with open hands.  Enjoy His good gifts, but do not cling to them. Turn your attention to the Giver of all good things, and rest in the knowledge that you are complete in Him. The one thing we absolutely need is the one thing we can never lose:  His Presence with us!  Psalm 62:5;  Revelation 1:8;  1 Peter 2:9  James 1:17

BEWARE OF SEEING YOURSELF  through other peoples’s eyes.  There are several dangers to this practice.  First of all, it is nearly impossible to discern what others actually think of you.  Moreover, their views of you are variable;  subject to each viewer’s spiritual, emotional, and physical condition.  The major problem with letting others define you is that it borders on idolatry.  Your concern to please others dampens your desire to please God your Creator.  It is much more real to see yourself through God’s eyesHis gaze upon you is steady and sure, untainted by sin.  Through His eyes you can see yourself as one who is deeply, eternally loved.  Rest in His loving gaze, and you will receive deep Peace.  Respond to His loving Presence by worshiping Him in spirit and in truth.  Hebrews 11:6;  John 4:23-24

Establish my steps and direct them by Your word, let not any iniquity have dominion  over me.  Deliver me from the the oppression of man; so I will keep Your  precepts (hearing, receiving, loving, and obeying them).  Psalm 119:133-114  You may pray fifteen minutes every morning, and know you are touching heaven because things happen as a result of your prayers.  But if you have a friend who may pray four hours every day, you may feel that you should pray more too.  Trust God to lead you individually in how long to pray and what to pray about.  Spending an extra three hours and forty- five can become a work of the flesh, if you do it just to be like your friend.  You can wind up miserable and unproductive if you follow what someone else is doing, instead of simply saying, “Lord, teach me to pray. ”

LOOK TO GOD CONTINUALLY for help, comfort and companionship.  Because He always by your side.  the briefest glance can connect you with Him.  When you look to Him for help, it flows freely from His Presence.  This recognition of your need for Him, in small matters a well as in large ones, keeps you spiritually alive.  When you need comfort, He love to enfold you in His arms.  God enable you not only to feel comforted but also to be a channel through whom He comforts others.  Thus  you are doubly blessed, because a Living channel absorbs some of whatever flows through it.  My constant Companionship is the piece de resis-tance:  the summit of salvation blessings.  No matter what losses you experience in your life, no one can take away this glorious gift.  Psalm 34:4-6  Psalm 105:4;2   2 Corinthians 1:3-4

And my God will liberally supply all of your needs according to His riches in glory, in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:19

Jesus tries to get us to sow a good seed by this statement that He is first in our lives.  If we do that, we will receive more than we give up.  We are tested in this way all the time.  There have been many times when God has asked us to give my last, our only, and our all.  But every time we have done so, we have ended up better off than I was before.  Offer up your best to God today, and you will see His character, that He is El Shaddai – the God of more than enough. For You make him to be blessed and a blessing forever.  (Psalm 21:6)  God made a covenant with Abraham, that He would bless him, and cause him to be a blessing to others.  (Genesis 12:2)  You too are an heir to the true riches of God.  (James 1:9)  As you mature spiritually and are able to handle your inheritance, God wants you to have an abundance to bless others in His name.  Before you get involved with your daily routine today, seek God and feed your soul with His truth for your life.  Experiencing God will cause you to imitate His goodness, and prosper in His abundance.

We must Come To God with our defenses down, ready to be blessed and filled with His Presence.  We can relax and feel the relief of being totally open and authentic with Him.  You have nothing to hide and nothing to disclose, because I know everything about you already.  You can have no other relationship like this one.  Take time to savor its richness, basking in His golden Light.  One of the worst consequences of the Fall is the putting of barriers between themselves and others.  Facades abound in the world, even in My body, the church.  Sometimes, church is the last place where people feel free to be themselves.  They cover up with Sunday clothes and Sunday smiles.  They feel relief when they leave because of the strain of false fellowship.  The best antidote to this artificial atmosphere is practicing Gods Presence at church.  Let your primary focus be communing with Him, worshiping Him, glorifying Him.  Then you will be able to smile at others with Gods Joy, praying for them and loving them with His Love.  I John 1:5-7;  Exodus 33:14;  Philippians 4:8-9

In the day when I called, You answered me; and You strengthen me with strength in my inner self.  (Psalm 1:38:3)  Temptation to do wrong can make you feel horrible.  You may think, I shouldn’t be going through this; I should’t be having a problem with this or these kinds of thoughts.  But God taught me that temptation isn’t sin; we sin when we give in to temptation.  The Bible says temptation will comes.  It doesn’t say, “Woe unto him to whom it comes.”  it says, “Woe unto him by whose hand it comes” (Mathew 17:7).  Jesus told us to pray that we would not give in to the temptation when we are tempted (Luke 22:40).  (Psalm 105:4) is a great way to start your day right.  It says, “Seek, inquire of and for the Lord, and crave Him and His strength (His might and inflexibility to temptation); seek and require His face and His presence (continually) evermore.”

For if you forgive people their trespasses (their reckless and willful sins, leaving them, letting them go, and giving up resentments), your heavenly Father will also forgive you.  (Matthew 6:14)  Unforgiveness will ruin your day.   If someone hurts you, pray quickly, “God, I forgive them in Jesus’ Name.”  If your emotions feel strained when you see that person, stand firm in your decision to forgive them.  Pray for them, asking God to show yoou how to bless them.  Do whatever God leads you to do for them, and let God’s love work through you to heal the rift between you.  If you do your part, God will bring your feelings in line with your decision, and you will enjoy your day and your life.

God’s word says that HE MAKES US TO LIE DOWN IN GREEN PASTURES; this is a place of PEACE  We must learn to unwind whenever possible, resting in the Presence of our Shepherd.  This electronic age keeps our children “wired” much of the time, too tense to find Him in the midst of their moments.  God built into our very being the need for rest.  How twisted the world has become when people feel guilty about meeting this basic need!  How much time and energy they waste by being always on the go rather than taking time to seek My direction for their lives.  God has called us to walk with Him down paths of Peace.  He wants you to blaze a trail for others who desire to live in His peaceful Presence.  He has chosen us less for our strengths than for our weaknesses, which amplify our need for Him.  Depend on Him more and more, and He will shower Peace on all your paths.  Psalm 23:1-3; Genesis 2:2-3; Luke 1:79

I AM GOD WITH YOU, for all time and though out eternity.  Don’t let the familiarity of that concept numb its impact on your consciousness.  My perpetual Presence with you can be a continual source of Joy, springing up and flowing out in streams of abundant Life.  Let your mind reverberate with meanings of My Names:  Jesus, the Lord saves; and Immanuel, God with us  Strive to remain conscious of My Presence even in your busiest moments.  Talk with Me about whatever delights you, whatever upsets you, whatever is on your mind.  These tiny steps of daily desciplinem taken one after the other, will keep you close to Me on the path of Life.  Matthew 1:21, 23; Acts 2:28

So we, numerous as we are, are one body in Christ (the Messiah) and individually we are parts one of another (mutually dependent on one another). (Romans 12:5  Learn to appreciate the call of God on your life.  He has a different call for every one of us. None of us called to do all the work that needs to be done, but we can each enjoy the assignments we are given.  We can also enjoy the work God does through others.  Today holds an opportunity to mature in the knowledge of God and to enjoy whatever God has called you to do.  Your part is needed.  Ask God early in the day to show you where to use your gifts to help others.

LINGER IN MY PRESENCE A WHILE!  Rein in your impulses to plunge into the day’s activities.  Beginning your day alone with Me is essential preparation for success.  A great athlete takes time to prepare himself mentally for the feat ahead of him before he moves a muscle.  Similarly, your time of being still in My Presence equips you for the day ahead of you.   Only I know what will happen to you this day.  I have arranged the events you will encounter as you go along your way.  If you are not adequately equipped for the journey, you will grow weary and lose heart Relax with Me while I ready you for action.  Ephesians 2:10; Hebrews 12:3

Unseen Promises Exist, And whatever you ask for in prayer, having faith and (really) believing, you will receive.  (Matthew 21:22)  Before the fulfillment of God’s promise to multiply Abram, He changed his name from Abram (“high exalted father”) to Abraham, (“father of a multitude”) Genesis 17:1-6.  God spoke the promise long before it was visible to anyone.  Anything that is in the Word of God is a promise that can be rightfully and legally spoken for the even before it visibly exists.  Reach into the spiritual realm, that you cannot see, and pull the promises of God out of there, with the words of your mouth, and prophesy them into existence.  Read God’s Word and speak s the Holy Spirit leads you to do so today.

LEARN TO LISTEN TO ME even while you are listening to other people.  As hey open their souls to your scrutiny, you are on Holy ground.   You need the help of My Spirit to respond appropriately. Ask Him to think Through you, live through you, love through you.  My own Being is alive within you  in the Person of the Holy Spirit.  If you respond to other to others’ needs through your unaided thought processes, you offer them dry crumbs.  When the Spirit empower your listening and speaking.  My streams of living water flow through you to other people  Be a channel of My Love, Joy and Peace by listening to Me as you listen to others. DO NOT BE DISCOURAGED by the difficulty of keeping your focus on God.  He knows that your heart’s desire is to be aware of His Presence continually.  this is a lofty goal; you aim toward it but never fully achieve it in this life.  Don’t let feelings of failure weigh you down.  Instead, try to see yourself as I see you.  First of all, God delights in your deep desire to walk closely with Him Him through you life.  God is pleased each time you initiate communication with Him.  In addition, He notices the progress you have made sine you first resolved to live in His Presence.  When you realize that your mind has wandered away from God, don’t be alarmed or surprised.  You live in a world that has been rigged to distract you.  Each time you plow your way through the massive distractions to communicate with Him, you achieve a victory.  Rejoice in these tiny triumphs, and they will will increasingly light up your days.  Romans 8:33-34; Hebrews 4:14-16

Instead, speaking the truth in love, we will in all things grow up into him who is the Head, that is, Christ.  (Ephesians 4:15  NIV)  If you want to become fully mature in the Lord, you must learn to love truth.  Otherwise, you will always leave open a door of deception for the enemy to take what is meant to be yours.  Some people have a difficult time facing truth and reality.  They prefer to live in a make-believe world, pretending that certain things aren’t happening.  But we cannot deny the existence of problems or act as if they are not real.  The devil is real, life is real, people are real, pain is real, and poverty is real.  The good news is that no matter how real our pain may be, or how big our problems may seem, we can overcome all of them with the Word of God.

Encourage, Don’t Criticize.  We can improve our relationships with others by leaps and bounds if we become encourager’s instead of critics.  It is the greater person who does the right thing; Christ’s righteousness dwells in you to help you do what is right.  You are great in God eyes when you choose to do right and bless others.  No matter how rough your day is today, speak words that uplift and encourage those around you.  Encourage others if you notice them doing a  good job–not just those who work with you, but people wherever you go, such as store clear, clerks, auto mechanics, and waiters.  Say something like, “I appreciate the extra effort you are making to do your job well.”  You can change your life and someone else’s by choosing to choosing to speak positive words.
