Give it to Jesus and Leave it There

John 2:1-5

And the third day there was a marriage in Cana of Galilee, and the mother of Jesus was there. And both Jesus was called, and his disciples, to the marriage. And when they wanted wine, the mother of Jesus saith unto Him, they have no wine. Jesus saith unto her, Woman, what have I to do with thee? mine hour is not yet come. This was Jesus first miracle and in this miracle God is letting us know that He has the power over Nature and just like He change the water into wine, He can take our life from ordinary to extra ordinary, He can take our boring life and can make it exciting, He took plan old water and turn it into the best wine in the world. No one wanted plan old water and Jesus turned it into something that everyone wanted. No matter how you were born, God can transform your life, you may not be the best looking person in the world, but God can make people see you as the most beautiful person in there world. Just like God turned water into wine, He can take your empty bank account and deposited money, take your sad day and turn it into joy, He can turn your midnight into day. All we see is water, a boring non productive life that made a lot of mistakes, but God sees a Fine wine that just had to age a little bit, you were created by God and God does not make any junk or mistakes, He just make fine wine, when you start to believe who are and who`s you are and have the faith of Marry then you will know that you are that fine wine, I was water that did not believe in myself, not good for anything, not fit to die or live, but Jesus transform me, just like He turned the water into wine, He mixed my bad water( my dirty soul) with His Blood and my life have never been the same, now I am living with the help of the holy spirit that leads and guide me into all truth, now I am fit to die because of the blood of Jesus. I am that fine wine, this miracle gives us hope because sometimes we think that things will never change, we say well it`s always been this way, we were born poor and we are going to die poor, Dad was an abuser and so will I be. A zebra will never change their stripes. But if you give to God and leave it there, He knows what to do with it. Marry gave the problem to Jesus and she walked away because it was no longer her problem, why should she worry about it any longer, it was nothing she could do, she did not have the power, but she gave it to the one that had all power in His hands. Jesus said to His mother, woman it is not my time to show these people who I am, this is not my coming out party, but Marry never said another word except she told the disciples do what He says, WOW! What faith, she expected a blessing, she just had faith that Jesus would not disappoint Her. We to must have this kind of faith and trust that Jesus will never disappoint you, He always have something better for you, give your problems and concern to Jesus, give Him that child that is giving you trouble, give Him that cancer that the doctor told you about, give Him that bank account with no money, give Him those students loans you are behind on, give Him those lonely nights and just like He turned water into wine, He will turn your life around. At this Wedding ( please invite Jesus to your wedding and make sure He is at your funeral) They ran out of Wine, which means they ran out of Joy, Jesus cares about your joy, He cares about your soul first, but Joy next. They ran out of wine( joy) and the Groom and His Family were near disgrace, but Jesus was there and I want you to notice that Jesus was not moved by the fact that the wine had ran out, He was moved by the faith of Marry. Jesus is not moved by your problem, but faith is the key that will activate the promises of God. Many times in the Bible Jesus said your faith has healed you. What tragedies  or circumstances  are causing you grief and anxiety? Give it to Jesus and walk away, He knows what to do. Jesus perform this Miracle on the third day of the wedding, this Miracle the first of many would point to the last miracle that freed us from death, on the third day He rose with all power in His hands. He took away the sin of the world on the third day, that`s enough to shout about, to know that God will transform your life today and get you ready for your new home one day to be with Him, In 3 days or 3 months your life is about to change directions, God will turn it around, just give it to Him.
