Jesus made the disciples get into the boat and go on ahead of him to the other side. After he had dismissed them, he went up a mountain side by himself to pray. See even Jesus spent some time along. This is an example to us that we will be along sometimes and it will be okay.
Later that night, he was there alone, and the boat was already a distance from land, a storm came and the disciples were afraid. Jesus saw them struggling. He also sees us when we struggle. He sees when the storms come up in our life as well. Jesus went out to them walking on the water.
We will always have seasons of struggles and testing. There are times when everything we attempt to do will seem to go wrong.
Regardless of our prayers and concentration, adversity will come. The Lord has a purpose , in allowing us to struggle. When we struggle, the Lord said that He will never leave us or for fake us. He said that he will always be with us, He said that He will never put more on us than we can bear. The Apostle Paul called these times light afflictions which is but for a moment.
We may feel lonely now, but God is on his way to see about us. Just like he walked on the water to save the disciples; he will walk on water to save us. He will do the impossible to come see about his children.. And we are His children. Our happiness may be delayed but never deny, our peace of mind may be delayed, but never denied, our joy may be delayed but never denied, our health may be delayed but never denied, our relationship may be delayed but never deny, that new job may be delayed but never denied, that promotion may be delayed, but never denied.
Our God is a on time God.
He may not come when we want him, but he is always on time.
Because he is a perfect God.
He loves us so much that He will come to see about us.
