“Let me live a life that`s free from the things that draw me close to thee, For how can I ever hope to heal The wounds of others I do not feel. If my eyes are dry and I never weep, How do I know when the hurt is deep, If my heart is cold and it never bleeds, How can I tell what my brother needs, For when ears are deaf to the beggar`s plea And we close our eyes and refuse to see,And we steel our hearts and harden our mind, And we count it a weakness whenever we are Kind, We are no longer following the Father`s Way Or seeking His guidance from day to day, For, without ‘crosses to carry and burdens to bear. We dance through a life that is frothy and fair, For roads that are rough and realms that are higher, So spare me no heartache or sorrow, dear Lord, For the heart that is hurt reaps the richest reward, And God enters the heart that is broken with sorrow, As he opens the door to a brighter tomorrow, For only through tears can we recognize The suffering that lies in another`s eyes.

Do you realize this is the time of year when so many are hurting and feeling all alone.

Do you realize that this is the time of the year when depression and suicide rates are at their highest.

So I ask the Lord what can I do to help…..

The Holy Spirit replied be that light to a lost and dying world.

Tell a lost and dying world that they have a Savior. Teach them about the love of Jesus Christ.

So as I reflect over 2015 I read this poem by Helen Steiner Rice, which reminded me not to close my eyes to the things that God is showing me, or God’s people or the commands that He has left for us to carry out.

If we are honest sometimes we get weary. However the bible tells us in Galatians 6:9 “And let us not get weary in well doing, for in due season we shall reap, if we fait not.

Yet Pastor Shelia we do get weary. Of course you do.

Just the fact that it is mentioned in the bible lets us know that we are going to get weary. But God…

But God is in control……

He knew we would get weary, so He put us encouragement in His word. Don’t stop, Don’t you quit, Weeping may endure for a night but joy will come in the morning. (Psalms 30:6)

So today I thank God for my heartache. I thank god for my tears, I thank God for my sorrow.

It keeps me humble.

It teaches me.

It helps me to follow His plan and not my own. For I know without Him I can do nothing, But with Him I can do all things.

It helps me to seek His guidance in all that I do.

Read this over than reflect, your troubles your storm is not about you, they are for someone else, they are to help you see.

Can you see His master plan.

As I close take this as encouragement, I give you hope, joy, and peace.

Know that you are important to God….
Know that He died for you.
Know that you might be down, you might be depressed, but God has not forgotten you.
He knew this day before it happened, He provided in His word your encouragement to hold on and trust Him.
Remember He can heal your past, He is in your present sustaining and blessing you, He has gone before you into your future and prepared it for you before you arrive.
He is God!! nothing is impossible for Him, and you are the apple of His eye.
He loved you so much He died for you.
Be encouraged He knows what you are going through, and He has already won the victory for you.
Now you believe it
Declare it
Receive it

To God Be The Glory In All Things
Merry Christmas and a Blessed New Year
