I am a disciple ?

I am a Disciple.

You are a Disciple.

What does that mean?

Discipleship is to be more like Jesus. Christ like; transformation is the goal, as we are to be conformed to the image of His Son, so that he would be the firstborn among many brothers ( Rom. 8:29) The point is not information, but Christ like transformation, let this mind be in you as Christ Jesus.

That means it is not about Knowledge in general, but about knowing Jesus better. Trying to be like Jesus, without the power of Jesus, dishonors Jesus.

Discipleship is a daily process, a daily commitment. What are the steps?

Get grounded in your faith, consistent in the word with a small group, online bible groups, daily devotions. Live a Christ centered life. To live Christ centered life is to truly find life the way it was meant to be lived. This is the life in which Jesus Christ and a relationship with him is the center of our life. When our relationship with Christ is the center, it will impact every area of life and that is what it was meant to be like. Every one of us is to be involved in discipleship if we are followers of Jesus Christ. This is not just for those with the spiritual gift of teaching or evangelism. This is for all of us. Just remember that disciples are made not born.

We must lead by example, we are not perfect but we can show others by how we treat our family, how we praise God, How we give to God by helping others.

We must be an humble servant, put the needs of other`s before ourselves. We must practice Spiritual disciplines, keeping your heart turned towards God.
