I Need A Mud Bath

John 9:6   After saying this, He spit on the ground, made some mud with the saliva, and put it on the man’s eyes.

While walking down the road, the apostles came across a blind man; they ask Jesus why this man was born blind. The current philosophy of the day was that if something went wrong, then you must have sinned or your parents must have sinned.Bad things like this just don’t happen for no reason. If you lose your job people will say its your fault. If you get a divorce people say you must have done something to her. If you get cancer people say you must have done something bad. If your kids are bad then people say its your fault. But Jesus rejects this philosophy. There are times that God allows pain into our lives to show us, and the world, that he is all powerful, worthy of  our praise.

What ever you are going through; it may not be your fault.

This is just a set up, for your miracle.

God is using you to show the world that He is a good God, and he can do everything but fail.

This blind man had a desire to see !

What is your desire today?

Do you want love?

Do you want peace in your home?

Do you need money in your bank account?

Do you need your kids saved?

Do you want your joy back?

Whatever you want God to do for you, realize that you must be willing to take a mud bath.

Are you willing to let Jesus spit on you.

If Jesus told you to look crazy, would you do it ?

The blind man did not care about what other people thought of him .

He just wanted to see.

He was blessed.

He got a double blessing.

Now he was able to see because of his faith. Because he was willing to use his faith, he now can see both physically, and spiritually.

Jesus wanted to see his faith!

He told him to go wash in the pool.

The blind man had no other choice; but to walk by faith, because he could not see.

We all should ask Jesus to please give us a mud bath.

To help us to walk by faith.

Think about it, if the blind man was not born blind, then God would have not had the opportunity to show and display his power.

What ever you are going through, God knows about it, and he will come to see about his children. God will not leave you in your condition.. Jesus made clay out of his own spit, and any part of Jesus is power.

Example: If you remember the lady with the issue of blood, she touched the hem of his garment and was made whole.

Jesus anointed the blind man’s eyes, in other words he gave the blind man a mud bath.

Jesus told the blind man to go wash in the pool.

The blind man had to walk a long way to the pool.

The pool was located outside the walls.

There were a lot of people laughing at the blind man with mud on his face.

If we want our blessings,  we must do what Jesus tells us to do. That means even if you look crazy, even if people do not understand what you are doing, we must do whatever Jesus tells us to do.

You do know that Jesus could have healed the blind man without spitting on the man.

Jesus wanted to see how much faith the blind man had.

Jesus will test us on how much faith  we have.

How much faith we have will determine how many blessings that we receive.

Some people would rather stay blind, than to have walked around with mud on their face.

We worry about what other people think.

When we know what God has said to us, we must be willing to step out on faith.

If you need peace of mind you must be willing to take a mud bath.

If you need a break through you must be willing to take a mud bath.

Faith without works is dead. We will always be required to take part in our blessing.

We must be like the blind man and step out on faith.

Close your eyes and step out on faith.

Let Jesus guide you ………..
