It is a TKO

Hebrews 12 : 1
" Looks Like Another Love TKO, I better Let it go"

God told us in the book of Jeremiah that I know the plans for your life and my plans are not to harm you but to prosper you my plans are to give you a future and I hope, God also said in the Book of Psalms number one that I will prosper you whatever you put your hands on. God cannot and will not lie, God is Not slack on his promises God is an on time God therefore if we have not received what we think we should have then we must look at what is holding us back from our blessing because God does have a blessing with your name on it. I believe that the word of God has the answer for the question as we look in the book of Hebrews that 12th chapter would give us some straightforward answers but I want us to go back to Hebrews in that 10th chapter, the word of God says that for the law, having a shadow of the good things to come.
What what God is saying is that you only saw a shadow is what to come at eyes of not seen ears have not heard what God has in store for those who love him and if we love God we will remain faithful to God and so the book of Hebrews has given us some promises and so before I get to chapter 12 as we look back  in chapter 11 God begins to give us some examples of people that kept the faith although some of them never seen the promised land but they still kept the faith and so here the writer of Hebrews is trying to encourage us to stay on the battlefield encourage us to walk by faith and not by sight to encourage us to trust in the one that can never fail. By faith we understand that the world  were framed by the word of God.  By faith Abell offered to God a more excellent  sacrifice  than Cain.
By faith Sarah  herself also received strength to conceive seed and bore a child in her old age. Because without faith it is impossible to please  God.
So first I must have faith in order to let some things go. I must believe that God will take care of me. If I let the job go that make me work every Sunday. If I let my abuser go. If I stop cheating on my taxes. If I stop running with the wrong crowd,  in fear of being all alone.  I must trust God. In Chapter 12 the writer says:
Therefore we also, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before him and do the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the Throne of God. The writer is saying to all of us just like in Chapter 11 where we named the faithful few the writer is telling us that we must remain faithful because God does have plans for our life and its plans is to prosper us his plan is to give a us a future and a Hope on this side of the river and once we are ready and I was Simon is up God give us a home a mansion not made by hands but in order for us to get there we must remain in the race in order for us to get there we must lay aside every weight and send that easily ensnares us. Now there's a difference between weight and sin, I thank God for taking care of the sin problem in my life, I thank God for Jesus. But the ride say it but we must lay aside every weight, the wait is slowing us down from getting what God has for us, God said I come that you may have life and have life abundantly but this weight is holding us back, yes gossip is not a sin but it's a weight that can hold us back, yes laziness is not a sin but it can hold US Bank from getting God's best, evil every now and then won't send me to hell but it'll hold me back from getting God's best, the writer says that we are surrounded by a great cloud of witnesses that's cheering us on to finish the race that God has set before each and every one of us what God is saying is that we have some cheerleaders, and if you ever play sports before you know that we need some cheerleaders they are very unique even when we're losing they're still cheering. Even when we miss up, not if but when I can hear mom saying get up,  keep on running,  I can hear Sarah saying keep the faith. We need some cheerleaders and you need to be a cheerleader. The body of Christ need some cheerleaders. As they cheer us on to stay in the race we must remember that there's some more weight that we have to let go because it looks like another TKO.
The only way that we can finish this race it tells us in the second verse looking unto Jesus the author finisher of our faith we got to let some things go we got to have faith in Jesus Christ that would let some things go that we still going to make him we have to let some bad habits go realize that we still going to make it because God is on our side. So we must look unto Jesus who started it and will finish it or yes that's what he did it says for who for the joy that was set before him and do the cross the joy of getting beaten thorns on his head Nails in his hand that wasn't Joy but he was looking beyond the pain to see the Promise the joy that was set before him , The Cross.
What is holding you back, what is slowing you down?
