Hebrews 12: 1-3
Let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles , and let us run with
perserverance the race marked out for us. Let us fix our eyes on Jesus who for the joy set before him
endured the cross, scorning its shame.
This is not our home on earth, we have a home not build my man. John 14:1-2 ” Do not let your hearts be
troubled, what Jesus is saying is that there will be trouble in your life on this earth, but do not let
trouble get to you, do not let it get you depressed. Do not let it make you quit. Do not let it control
your attitude. No matter what you are going through, it want last forever. So to keep our joy, peace and happiness
on this side I must do two things, first know that Jesus said , ” In my Father’s house are many rooms;
if it were not so, I would have told you. I am going there to prepare a place for you.so we know the future,
we know the end of the story. The second thing is to keep our focus on Jesus so we can keep our joy on this
side, in this earth. Keep you eyes on Jesus who is the author and finisher of our faith. God both creates and
sustains our faith, so our faith can not be lost, taken away or given away. Christ has created our faith
and He will watch over it, care for it, and sustain it. This is a source of great comfort to believers
, especially in times of doubt and spiritual struggles. When we take our eyes off of Jesus all we can see is
Struggles. Eyes on Jesus means He is bigger than our struggles.
