John 14:27 ‘ Peace I leave with you, my peace I give to you, not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. The beautiful words of John give us hope, in a world that has seem to be fuel by drama and despair, Jesus says Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you. When we accept the peace of Jesus Christ into our heart , our lives are transformed. and then , because we possess the gift of peace, we can share that gift with fellow Christians, family members, friends, and associates, we must remember we can not share what we do not possess. Every person knows that peace can be a scarce commodity in a demanding world, How then can we find the peace that we so desperately desire? peace in the home, peace on the job, peace with oneself. By turning our days and our lives over to God. ( Promises from God`s word for Women) Isaiah 26:3 ‘ Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee; Because he trusteth in thee. Peter was walking on water as long his mind was on Jesus, but he got scared the wind started to blow, waves started come, that is what the world will do, through everything at you to make you take your mind off of Jesus. If you are scared and you are a child of God open your eyes and mind, Jesus is standing in front of you, sometime you have to close your eyes and mind to the outside world to see Jesus. No amount of money, no person can give you this peace that passes human understanding and because the world did not give it to the world can not take it away without your permission. In the book of Daniel 3:23 And these three men, Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego, fell down bound into the midst of the burning fiery furnace, but they had peace in the fire because they trust in the Lord and God was in the fire with them. They came out smelling like a rose, but only 3 came out of the fire, God is still in the fire just in case you are going in the fire. fire of depression, fire on low on funds, fire of divorce, fire of addiction, fire of bad health, fire of no peace, fire of no hope, if our mind is on Him, He will keep us in perfect peace until he bring us out of the fire, that is why he said my Grace is sufficient. The Lady with the issue of blood for 12 look years did not jump off a bridge, she did not kill herself, God kept her in perfect peace until Jesus got there and healed her and made her hold. He will do the same for you.
