Prayer

God wants us to talk to Him daily all day long.

How often do you talk to God?

Is it something you do as an after thought.

Do you treat Him like your father?
Do you treat Him like your mother?
Do you treat Him like your very best friend ?

How many of us truly realize the importance of talking to God about every thing.

After excepting Christ as your personal Savior, talking to Him about every thing should become a part of your daily life.

I ask every one to read I Chronicles 4:9-10 This is the prayer of Jabez. The bible tells us that God granted his request.

1st it teaches us that Jabez was an honorable man.
Are you honorable?

What do you think that true honor is? True honor is character. it is not what a person has, however it is what a person does with what God has blessed them with.

Can God trust you to bless others when He blesses you ?

Jabez excelled above everyone else. Why ?

Because he honored God, He trusted God, He stood on the promises of God.

A blessing will always point you back to God.

Jabez knew that one must always keep God first in their life. other wise a blessing can easily become a curse.

It is God’s will to increase us. So Jabez prayer lined up with the will of God. Does your prayer life line up with the will of God for your life.

God wants to bless us, but the question is can he trust us with a blessing.

You see Jabez thought of others. He wanted to be blessed so he could be a blessing. And as the prayer revealed, he wanted the blessing; but he realized he needed the hand of God to lead, guide, and protect him once the blessing came.

Seek God in all things every day of your life. Talk to Him, He is waiting to hear from you.

Know that you need the hand of God in your life every day.

To God Be The Glory In All Things

Praise His Holy Name.
