Romans 8:29-30, For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren. Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified.
This letter was written, in late winter or early spring A.D. 57 or 58, In these verses Paul expanse what it means to be one who has been called, according to his purpose and why God keep on working on the called, the believers. Paul went the believers, to knew that the eternal choice and foreknowleldge involvers more than establishing a relationship between God and the believers. Now those God foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the likeness of his Son. According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be Holy and without blame before him in love. God has predestinate us not simply, that we may be sanctified, spiritual and victorious, but that we may be fully conformed to the image of his Son. Scripture said beloved, now are we the son of God,and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is. By all saints being made like Christ will complete sanctification, see in whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worth all things after the counsel of his own will.
Christ will be exalted as the firstborn amoug the many brethren, as the firstborn he is in the highest position among others. The resurrected and glorified Jesus Christ will become the head of a new race of brethren and sisters purified from all contact with sin and prepared to live eternally in his presence. This had been God’s plan from the beginnering, between the start and finish of God’s plan are three steps: Being called, being justified, being Glorified, whom he called, he also justified and the he also glorified. Being called, among whom are ye also the called of Jesus Christ. Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus. See therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. Mush more then being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him. Being glorified, and if children then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him that we may be also glorified together. See now when Christ who is our life, shall appear then shall ye also appear with him in glory.
Glorification is the step in God’s Complete salvation in which God will completely saturate our body of sin which is of death and is mortal. Romans 8:11 Said, but if the of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his spirit that dwelleth in you. God work to conform us to the image of his Son until he bring us into his glory. With the glory of his life and nature according to the principle of his regenerating our spirit through the spirit. In this way he will transfigure our body, comforming it to the resurrected glorious body of his Son. By whom also we have access by faith into this grace where in we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.
