Run your Race

Ecclesiastes 9:11 I returned and saw under the sun that. The race is not given to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, nor bread to the wise, nor riches to men of understanding, nor favor to men of skill; But time and chance happens to them all.

When running a race in the natural each man is given a lane to run in. If you run in another person lane, you are disqualified from the race which means you lose. In the spirit we have lanes also that we are called to. In order for us to be effected we must stay in our lanes and do what we are called to do. Everybody is  called to do something, Usher, Deacon, Choir, witness, not everyone is called to the Pulpit. Every position is important to  the up building of God’s Kingdom..

When running this race,  we must know what race we are running because there are different kind of  races, (relay, cross country, marathon, sprinting and hurling). Which one are you running? If you are a hurler then you will always be jumping over obstacles. What are your obstacles and how are you overcoming them? God has told us in Jeremiah 29:11 ” I know the thoughts that I think toward you they are thoughts of good and not evil to give you a Hope and a Future”. Are you running your race according to God’s plan? Have you prayed and ask him to help you run your race, for guidance, instruction and strength.

Ask God to help you, tell him you can’t do it without his help. He is waiting on you to ask for help. Cry out to him Lord Jesus thy son of David help me!

To God be the glory in all things,

Apostle Essie Bush
