1 Corinthians 6:19-20
19. What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? 20. For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are god’s.
We know every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body. Now he that is joined into the Lord is one spirit, if the Lord Jesus Christ, be with your spirit, then grace be with you also. Because we are organically united with Christ and because Christ dwell in our spirit, and makes his home in our heart our entire being is our purified body. Now Ephesians 3:17, tell us, that Christ may dwells in your hearts by faith: that ye, being rooted and grounded in love. Becomes a member of Christ, body we must practice such a membership we need to offer our body to him. Paul said in Romans 12:1, I beseech you therefore, brethren by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies, living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. For as we have many members in one body, all members have not the same office, so we being many, are one body in Christ and every one members one of another. we know the Holy Spirit is in our spirit and our spirit is within our body and our body becomes a temple, a dwelling place, of the Holy Spirit. Now the spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God, this is his body, the fulness of him that filleth all in all. The precious blood of Christ, this is to allow God, who dwells in us to saturate our body and express himself through our body as his temple. In the book of acts 20:28, to take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock over, the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God; which he hath purchased with his own blood, for ye are bougth with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit which are God. We must remember, meat for the belly and the belly for the meat: but God shall destroy both it and them, now the body is not for fornication, but for the Lord: and the lord for the body. 1 Corinthians 11:1, said be ye followers of me even as i also am of Christ. We must always bearing about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our body.
