Be careful for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your request be made known to God.
And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7
Believers ought to be vigilant about not getting too high or low when their circumstance, mood or relationship with others find them feeling some kinda way. Whether the feeling is good or bad we must find ourselves giving thanks to God, and not ourselves (pride) or others (hate).
For as sure as God showers believers with gifts and blessings, he also molds us with trials and tribulations. Be careful to not allow gifts and blessings to cause you to think of yourself or others more highly than you ought. Nor should trials and tribulations cause you to think less of yourself or others.
Remeber, the Peace of God which passeth all understanding, is a promise God made all believers who through prayer and supplication with thanksgiving, make their request known to him.
