TRUSTING GOD’S WILL WHEN YOU DO NOT UNDERSTAND

Life will always have it’s twist and turns and we may not understand why things are happening to us at this time in our life, God has a plan for you just like He had a plan for Jesus. When Jesus confronted the reality of His impending death on the cross,He asked God that this terrible burden might be lifted. But as He faced the possibility of a suffering that was beyond description, Jesus prayed, ” Nevertheless not my will, but thine ,be done” ( LUKE 22:42)  As Christians , we too must be willing to accept God’s will, even when we do not fully understand the reason for the hardships that we must endure. Grief and suffering visit all of us, black, white, rich or poor, God has a plan and each one of us has a role to play so God can accomplish His Goals for His kingdom. We can not go on our own emotions, we must go with what we know, and we know that God loves us and would not harm us at all, He cares about our Joy, Peace and happiness. When we lose a loved one or when we experience any other profound loss, darkness overwhelms us for a while, and it seems as if we cannot summon the strength to face another day, but with God’s help, we can. When we confront circumstances that trouble us to the very core of our souls, we must trust God. When we are worried, we must turn our concerns over to Him. When we are anxious, we must be still and listen for the quiet assurance of God’s promises. He did say by sheep will hear my voice, His voice can come through a billboard, a book, a person. God blessings come to us in mysterious ways, through pain and trouble. At such times you can know God’s goodness only through your trust in Him. Understanding will fail you, because when we can not figure it out, we give up like there is no hope. But trust will keep us close to God. We must place our lives in the hands of God. The all state tv commercial says you are in good hands with all state. But you are in the best hands with The all knowing true God. Let us remember Romans 8:28 when we are at the end of the rope, ‘ And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are called according to his purpose. We walk by Faith and not by what we see, or how we feel, go with what you know. The Lord is my Shepherd, The good Shepherd, He is our Shepherd today and throughout eternity, come let us trust the Shepherd.
