The privilege and the power of all true believers is found in communication with our Heavenly Father through prayer. (Ephesians 6:18) exhorts us to pray at all times and on every occasion, in every season in the spirit with all Manner of prayer. To the end, keep alert and watch with strong purpose and perseverance interceding on behalf of all the Saints, God’s consecrated people.
Webster’s dictionary defines Manner; as a method, a habit, or a way of doing something. Prayer can be expressed in many ways, Thanksgiving, praise, supplication, petition, worship, a quiet moment in his presence a declaration of faith, a love song a groan and even in a tear. But most of all prayer is our devoted fellowship with God our Father.
Daily prayer in the life of a believer is as necessary as the air we breathe. When we grow weary and faint with the trials of this world, we must remember the words that Jesus taught, men are always to pray and not turn coward, to lose heart, or faint, or to give up.
Through many seasons of my life I have found strength, direction, energy, comfort, forgiveness, and graced continually as I have experienced many facets of prayer.
