Making Sacrifices Will Get You An A+ On Your Report Card

Sometimes God asks the strangest things.

Noah had to build an ark miles away from any body of water.

He had to  put in stalls that would somehow be filled with animals.

I am sure Noah did not know how to do this. But he understood if God told him to do it, he would show him how to do it.

We make sacrifices for our kids or for a love one often in life.

Sometimes we wonder why did we make that sacrifice;  because they did not appreciate it.

We then sometimes feel  disappointed .

When we make a sacrifice for God, He will never disappointed us.

God will test us to see how much we trust, and love Him.

Just like any test you took in school the better the grade the better the reward.

Abraham got an  A+ on his report card.

In the book of Genesis 22:1-3 says some time  later God tested Abraham.

God said take your son, Isaac and kill Him for me.

Abraham said ok.

What if God ask you for the one thing that you love so much , what would you say?

Abraham did not understand but he trusted God.

You can only trust someone if you know them, and have a relationship with them.

You may not understand why is God telling you to help your enemies,

why is God telling you to go to a strange land ,

why is God telling you to apply for the job with no degree ,

why is God telling you to apply for the loan when you know you have a bad credit score,

why is God telling you to date that person when they are not your type?

When you do not understand just do it when it comes to God.

You know the story , as Abraham placed Isaac on the altar, as Abraham raised his knife in order to kill his son in obedience to God.

God said stop, you have passed the test.

I know now that you trust me and love me  more than anything in the world.

So Abraham here is your reward, you are the father of many nations, and because Abraham was obedience  to God he was blessed and so are we.

So when we trust God and make sacrifices for God; He will bless us and our families.

One of the saddest stories in the bible is when Jesus ask the rich young ruler , go and sell all your possession and follow me, he said no , he failed the test got an f and received no reward.

What you do for God will pay off.
