Let go of the old and become empowered for the new

When we hear the words “letting go,” it can often seem daunting and scary. We hold onto old things for comfort and familiarity, but what if I told you that by letting go of these things, you open yourself up to the power and authority that God has in store for you? In Genesis 13:14-19, Abram listened to God’s call to leave everything he knew behind, and in doing so, he was able to receive the transformation and change that God had planned for him.

We must equip ourselves to let go of the old and become empowered for the new. By letting go, we allow God’s provision to come into our lives and equip us for the journey ahead.

Letting go is not easy, but it is necessary for becoming the change we seek and receiving all that God has in store for us.
